Urban scenography

Brief

 The city of Thouars (in Poitou-Charentes, France) wanted to modernize the available green spaces by adding some new functionalities.

Constraint: A river is crossing the major park of Thouars, I had to consider the flood risks, user activities and practices around the river.

Solution: How to create a relationship between human and nature ? I used this question to conceive a proposal. The aim of the project is to create a pedestrian alternative that people can use, instead of a motorized road. By crossing a pedestrian bridge, a scenography offers to discover the landscape that is left unnoticed
