Community space

Brief

The project was dedicated to create a daytime nursery on a building's roof. 

Constraint: The roof space area in which we had to build the daytime nursery was defined. We also had to respect a specific program, based on the workers and children's need.

Solution: The Kapla© is a perfect game that helps to design the nursery. The concept of the Kapla is playful, modular and scalable. I chose to work on a piece of wood for its simple shape and merged into all the other elements: from the plan to the walls texture, also as the building's second skin.
